Facebook user Lyka Gonzales posted the video above on November 16, with captions stating that the incident took place at around 9 p.m. at The Block in SM City North Edsa in QC.

According to Gonzales, mall security guards were trying to disperse a group of street children away as they were blocking customers coming out the mall's exit and entrance doors.

These kids were clearly about the entrance asking passing customers for alms which naturally will not be tolerated by guards. As the guards try to drive the kids away, one of them got angry followed by the altercation captured on the video.

You will see that one of the girls companions is challenging the security guard into a fist fight and threw a metal object that hit the back of his head. The security guard knowing better, kept his cool.

What happened next after the video was cut, is still unknown.

Meanwhile, netizens is taking the blame to government agencies, particularly the DSWD for failing to efficiently do their job to minimize problems involving street children.
