Nonito Donaire failed to defend his World Boxing Association super world featherweight title from power-puncher challenger Nicholas Walters of Jamaica in their match held in Carson, California.
Knockout: Nonito Donaire vs Nicholas Walters

In round 6, Donaire was brutally KO'd by a right overhand punch to the side of his head flooring the Filipino Flash flat on his face and putting Walters on a winning streak of 25 wins 21 of which via knockout. On the other hand, Donaire now has 3 losses and 33 wins.

The official result was a technical knockout (TKO) timed at 2:59 of round six.

Is this the end for the Filipino Flash or will there be a rematch? Would this title not pass and be seized instead as per the HBO commentator Jim Lampley said?
