Android version 5.0 a.k.a. Lollipop statue has been unwrapped in front of the Google HQ, October 15. This is to mark the release the newest version of search giant Google's Android OS.

Android is known for naming their OS versions after their favorite treats from Gingerbread to Icecream Sandwich and from Kitkat to Lollipop. This new version is not only sweet but also packs new features such as more ways to secure your device; new battery saver feature and a new feature that lets you set priority levels on contacts and notifications allowing you to manage disruptions.

According to Android Chief Sundar Pichai, Lollipop is designed to be flexible, to work on all your devices and to be customized for you the way you see fit.

In line with this news, Google also unveils Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus 9 tablet both running on Android Lollipop.
